UP - Part 1

We spent most of August in Hancock with our family and it was absolutely wonderful!  We are so blessed and thankful to be able to do it.  We had such fun being with everyone and taking advantage of the beautiful summer weather.  We did so much that Mom is going to have to separate the pictures into a few separate postings :-)  Here's a start...

We loved cruisin' on Grandpa's boat!

Grandma MJ had a Lowney family/friends BBQ at her house - it was a great party!

4-wheeler rides with Grandpa Bob are still one of my favorite activities...and will be for many years, I'm sure!
We rented a cabin on the lake for 5 days and we all loved being right on the water.
Mom and Dad enjoyed their date night on the dock while Koen and I stayed with Grandpa & Grandma.
First of many s'mores throughout the 3 weeks - YUM!!!!!!

I declare a water war!!!!  Look out Uncle Ray!

Emmie, Uncle Nick, Aunt Kristine, and Grandma MJ came out to spend our last day at the cabin with us.
We went to try out the Go-Karts as a family - me and Dad vs Koen and Mom.  Guess who won?!

We had a huge crew of us at Grandpa & Grandma's for Daddy's BBQ rib dinner.  It was dee-lish!

Great-Grandma Glo had all her grand and great-grand children over for a yummy lasagna dinner...I had a blast playing with Emmie (even though it doesn't look like it in this picture).
 You're so funny, Uncle Nick!
Great-Grandma Neva treated us to dinner at the Calumet Golf Club - it was a beautiful evening on the course.  We all enjoyed our meals, especially Koen :-)
I'll be right there Mom, just need to check my email real quick...

HOT July

We had a hot and humid July, so we took advantage of it with as much water fun as possible!

We went to the beach for our church's annual baptism in Lake Michigan to be there for some friends of ours who got baptized - besides it being a wonderful event, it was also a perfect morning for the beach...even at 7am!!

Three of my favorite things - vacuums, balls, and slippers.
