Koen's 2-month stats

Had my 2-month appointment today and I'm as healthy as a horse...getting as big as a horse too!  I seem to be taking the opposite route of my big brother (huge head & skinny body) so maybe there is more Hodges in me!

Weight: 12lbs 9oz (75%)
Height: 23 3/4 inches (75-90%)
Head: 15 7/8 inches (50%)

I'm getting quite animated these days too...and I promise, I have given them a few smiles but they just haven't been able to capture them on camera!

Koen's Dedication

We had my baby dedication this past Sunday at church and it was a very special day for all of us.  Mommy and Daddy thank God for me - they say I'm a miracle!  I'm not sure what that really means but I know that God did some pretty amazing things when He made me.  Asher and Amri's parents, Uncle Nick and Aunt Traci were Mommy and Daddy's prayer partners for me but Mommy was not on top of things and didn't get any pictures of me with them or of our whole family.  I told her it was okay and that I would try to cooperate for a few pictures after we got home.

I was so much more comfortable in the pictures above once they released me from this stuffy sweater vest!

Oh no, do we really have to take more pictures?!?!

Time with Daddy is so relaxing!

Yay Koen!

It's me the little guy checking in here!  I'm 7 weeks old now and all I hear about is what an incredible baby I am.  I don't know why Mommy & Daddy talk about it so much, it's really no big deal!  I go to bed around 10 or 10:30 now and wake up once sometime between 3-4am to eat.  Then I go right back down and sleep again until 7 or 7:30 when Noah and Mommy come to wake me up.  I even went until 5:30am one night and then 4:30 the next night - Mommy seemed to be extra happy when she showed up to feed me those nights!  I've been taking a few naps in my crib here and there during the day but I mainly doze off wherever and am very happy and content pretty much all the time...the only time I cry is when I really need a cuddle and then I stop crying right away and am happy as a clam again.  I'm starting to get more interactive and responsive too as you can see below...

Happy Halloween!

I had a really fun Halloween - first we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood and my bucket was full after only 5 or 6 houses!  They all had special bags filled with candy waiting especially for me!  I had a good time chatting with the neighbors with Mom & Dad too, chuckling at all the appropriate times during the conversations and saying "Take care!" as we left to move onto the next house.  I was a riot!  After our neighborhood we headed over to my friend Andrew's house to go trick-or-treating with him and our other pal, Nate.  We did it last year too and might have to make this a Halloween tradition!  Oh, and if you're wondering what I'm dressed up as, I'm one of Lightning McQueen's pit crew mechanics...of course!  My jumpsuit says "McQueen Team" on the side but you can't see it in the pictures.
