Summer Fun

We've had a busy first month of summer and now Mommy's trying to get caught up so you can see what we've been up to...like blowing bubbles in the backyard :-)
We had a few rainy days so I got to break out my wellies!
We love having our buddy Sam over - he's one month older than Koen but he really prefers playing with me!
When Grandma Chris and MB came to visit we celebrated MB's birthday and retirement with our favorite cake - YUM!  I decorated it with my Lightning McQueen candles just for her.
Grandma and MB stayed with us while Mommy and Daddy went to Florida for Miss Nichole's wedding and we had a super time with them!
We spend as much time as we can playing in our backyard - and doing headstands in the pool!
Miss Alisha came to visit while Grandma Chris and MB were here so I joined them for some nice conversation.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a house full of family for Memorial Day weekend and we all had so much fun together!  Emmie and I were going nonstop the whole weekend but did take a few breaks to "rest" in our sleeping bags that Grandma MJ brought us :-)
We loaded up our backpacks that Grandma brought us with cars and toys and I was telling everyone that my backpack is full to the gills!
The weather was gorgeous the whole weekend so we spent most of our time in the backyard playing in the sprinkler, pool, and water table and eating popcorn :-)
We did have to come in and cool off on Sunday afternoon, so we decided to use our time productively.
Auntie Lyndsey helped me add a few new twists to my dance moves.
Uncle Al's girlfriend Mimi joined us for a night too and this was our best effort at getting a family picture on Monday morning before everyone left.  Thanks for the fun times everyone!

Summer Begins

I finished up my last swim lesson as we head into the summer season of outdoor pools and beach time.  As you can see, I made great progress since my first lesson when I refused to even enter the water!
Koen has taken over my old carseat and I've moved into a booster seat - check out the double cup holders!
What could Dad be pushing around the booster seat box?
Surprise!
They keep putting these Cheerios on my tray like I'm supposed to eat them!
Dad and I went to work on our car on our first 90 degree day and it was probably the most fun I've had in months!
Koen and I both have our own pools in the backyard too which we have enjoyed many times already this year.  Koen can't handle the cold water in my pool so he took over the water table for now.
This picture will make a little more sense in the video below...not much more though :-)

Sure I'll hold these diapers for you, big bro!
Have you seen 3 best pals that take better pictures together?  So photogenic!!
I've been working on my photo-taking skills too!
This video just goes to show that Koen is truly one of a kind...what baby actually thinks this is funny?!?!
