Merry Christmas!

Our 4 days in the Yoop were filled with family and fun!  We kicked off the vacation with two sessions of Christmas cookie decorating...

Emmie and I did some serious cousin-bonding...

...and I think Koen enjoyed his Aunt-bonding!

What's for dinner??

We had so much fun on Christmas Eve at Great-Grandma Glo's that Koen passed out before we could get a family picture.  Oh well!

I jumped right into the Christmas morning fun, but was satisfied after I opened my first present and just wanted to play with it :-)

It's TOO EARLY for this.

But I guess I'll be a trooper and pose for everyone!

The men in red!

The tree lights turn into dancing angels with these glasses on!

Mom and Dad's friends the Johnsons came to say hi before we left so we snapped a pic...

...but Koen and I didn't get the memo on this one.

Winter Wonderfest

On the Monday before Christmas we went to Winter Wonderfest at Navy Pier - it will now probably have to become an annual Mayra family Christmas tradition!  I had a super time and didn't stop grinning the whole night.  There were a ton of fun rides and games to play and LOTS of Christmas decorations to look at...

I loved the big blow-up slides and climbing obstacle courses!

And so did Daddy!

It's hard to see but that's me riding in the dinosaur with another boy.

Koen was thrilled with the whole adventure too.

December Fun

We've been having so much fun this month - I love Christmastime!
I've been practicing my perfect angel face :-)

And my handstands!

We made Christmas cookies as a family - Koen coached us from the table.

Grandpa Mike and Grandma Lisa sent me a picture story bible and I LOVE reading it - by myself or with Dad and Mom!

No pictures, please!

Help, somebody get me away from this crazy kid!

I'm much better at posing by myself :-)

Christmas Card Outtakes

I don't know why Mom and Dad thought this was so hard with two incredibly cooperative boys like us! :-)

Here's Koen all dressed up to go get our Christmas tree...

And Mom and me after we got it up!

Pumpkin Ravioli

Mommy just realized she never posted this, so here it is a bit late...one Saturday night in November we had our annual fall tradition of making homemade pumpkin ravioli...this year I actually helped because I was strong enough to crank the wheel on the pasta machine!
