Apple Orchard

We took our annual trip to the apple orchard this past weekend.  It was my third time so I'm an old pro at picking apples, riding the wagon pulled by the tractor and the "moo-choo" train, and eating pumpkin donuts.  Koen seemed to like his first experience there - he slept pretty much the whole time in the sling with Mommy.

Some of Koen's Favorites

Reading books with Grandma and my big brother, snoozing, snuggling with my fam...life is good!

My first real bath, on the other hand, was not quite as enjoyable...until it was over.

Kite Flying

Great-Grandma Glo brought me a kite from China and we went to the park as soon as Daddy got home from work to try it out.  It sure is fun!!

Mommy and Daddy brought home my "big brother present" early this past week - a train table!  It sure is fun to become a big brother :-)

The Kuhn family came over last night to celebrate Koen's arrival and Mommy's birthday and I had a super time with Asher and Amri as usual.  We sang to Mommy and had fun with the party favors that Grandma brought.

Visitors

Great-Grandma Glo and Auntie Lyn came to visit me this past week after they returned from China and it was so nice to meet them!  I've had a great first week - I love my crib and have been waking up only once at night and then Mommy has to wake me up again in the morning to feed me.  I'm also enjoying all the love from my big bro!

The Little Brother

Well, so far life in the Mayra family is treating me well!  My big brother is quite entertaining and attentive when I'm awake (which isn't very often) and I've already been on two walks in the sling which I find very enjoyable.

I am a big cuddler and Grandma has been happy to oblige :-)

How's the book, Grandma?

The Big Brother

I'm back, folks!  Now that Mommy properly introduced our new blog, my little bro and I will be taking it from here.  It's been so much fun having Koen home with us.  I really like to hold him :-)

Time to get in shape!  My abs have always been a problem area...

Grandma Chris brought down my tricycle that Grandpa Bob fixed up for me and Mommy's old bike helmet.  You should see me motor down the street on this thing!

Would you like me to read you a book, Koen?  This is one of my favorites!

Koen Comes Home

We brought Koen home this morning and he received a wonderful welcome from his big brother. Noah loves to hold him, touch him, and kiss him and calls him “my baby”. Koen has been taking it all in stride and sleeps through most of his big brother's attempts at helpfulness.

Family of Four

We are so thankful for the addition of Koen to our family!  Noah is an incredibly sweet big brother and is very gentle with Koen...what a blessing these boys are :-)
