End of the School Year

I loved my first year of preschool!  These are my best friends from school who both live in my neighborhood - Reid and Morgan.  We sure had fun this year!
On the second to last day of school we had a picnic with lots of food, games, and fun :-)

This is my teacher doing the limbo.  Go Miss Laura!!
And my attempt :-)

Last day of basketball...the three of us were in the same sports classes three days a week and loved our coach Mr. Gill!!

Cute Stuff

Noah's birthday crown from school is one of my favorite things to put on and wander around the house in.

My big brother does a great job reading The Hungry Little Caterpillar to me :-)

Midwest Weather

We've gone from HOT to cold and everywhere in between!
This sprinkler is so much fun!!
Or maybe it's not - brrrr!

One of the crazy storms knocked a big branch down from a tree on our street and the city came to cut it all down.  My neighbor Gerardo and I were searching for a lost tennis ball in the mess...

Post-injury cuddles...the driveway really trips me up sometimes!
Gerardo and I discovered how to make sidewalk chalk into sidewalk paint :-)

Memorial Day Weekend

Grandma MJ and Uncle Alex came to spend Memorial Day weekend with us - Uncle Nick, Aunt Kristine, and Emmie were supposed to come too but unfortunately Uncle Nick got really sick and they couldn't make it.  We missed them, but still had a super fun time together!  Koen was ready to party :-)
We were hoping for warm weather and lots of outdoor activities but both Sat and Sun were cold and wet.  So we made the best of it and started off at Chuckie Cheese on Saturday morning.  It was empty due to the holiday weekend and we had a blast!

Yeah, that's right - I'm just chillin' with my ball.

We also did lots of art projects...

...reading and playing games on Grandma's phone...
...and playing cards.
The rain eventually stopped and by the time we came home from eating pizza on Sunday night we were finally able to play outside!
Koen preferred to splash.
And he took a major fall so he needed some love from Mommy :-)
Here begins the process of trying to get a good picture with 2 squirrely boys!

Hooray - we got one!! :-)
This mustache caused quite a few laughs throughout the weekend.  I, however, was not exactly pleased with sporting it for a picture...but I did it for Grandma!

Whew, get that thing off of me!
Uncle Al looks so much better...
He also let me try out his skateboard and threw in a free lesson!
The summer weather returned on Memorial Day and we had a neighborhood BBQ.  It was all boys in the backyard - soaking wet and having a fantastic time!
