Happy Halloween!

I had a really fun Halloween - first we went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood and my bucket was full after only 5 or 6 houses!  They all had special bags filled with candy waiting especially for me!  I had a good time chatting with the neighbors with Mom & Dad too, chuckling at all the appropriate times during the conversations and saying "Take care!" as we left to move onto the next house.  I was a riot!  After our neighborhood we headed over to my friend Andrew's house to go trick-or-treating with him and our other pal, Nate.  We did it last year too and might have to make this a Halloween tradition!  Oh, and if you're wondering what I'm dressed up as, I'm one of Lightning McQueen's pit crew mechanics...of course!  My jumpsuit says "McQueen Team" on the side but you can't see it in the pictures.

 

Grandma MJ's Visit

Grandma MJ came to visit this past week and we had so much fun together!  She did a lot of snuggling with Koen which they both seemed to enjoy quite a bit.  The weather was yucky so we were inside pretty much every day but we played like crazy!

 

 

We emptied out the linen closet and built an enormous fort in the basement - I worked hard on the sign that says "Noah's Fort"

We carved our pumpkin last night too - great job, Daddy!

Grandma MJ thought Koen was pretty cute I guess...

Koen's 1 Month Stats

Koen had his 1 month appt yesterday so I'm reporting his healthy stats:

Weight: 9lbs 10.5oz, 50%

Height: 21 3/4 in, 75%

Head: 15 1/4 in, 50%

We sure are going to have fun together as he grows up!

I've already been teaching him some of my favorite tricks...

And once he gets bigger, I can share my favorite foods with him - like ice cream and bananas!

 

This has been a super month since Koen arrived - we all love him!!

It was finally warm enough yesterday to have some fall fun - bet you can't find me!!

Fall Weekend

This past weekend we drove up to Green Bay so Mommy and Daddy could go to their friend Scott's wedding and we got to stay in a hotel with Grandma Chris and MB.  I loved swimming in the pool and started jumping off the side and going underwater by myself!  Koen also had fun meeting MB, Uncle Nick and Aunt Kristine and sleeping, as usual.  We came home on Sunday and Daddy had Monday off so we went to get a pumpkin and then made pumpkin whoopie pies - I liked the cream filling the best :-)

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Rest of the Hodges Family Meets Koen

Koen's 2 Week Stats

I had my 2 week appointment today and I am a healthy boy!  I put on 2 lbs over the past 10 days and grew almost 2 inches.  Here are my stats:

Weight: 8lbs 8oz

Height: 20 3/4 inches

Head: 14 5/8 inches

They say babies grow when they sleep so...

 Every once in a while I wake up to play with my big bro.
