Weekend at the Camp

We spent 3 beautiful days at Grandpa's camp on Lake Superior and we did it all - swimming in the lake, playing in the sand, floating in my blow-up boat, riding and tubing in Grandpa's boat, roasting marshmallows over a bonfire, and walks on the beach.  We all loved it!

 Mom and Dad took me into town for a ride on the old Steam Train on Sunday afternoon - that was about the only thing that could make this weekend at the camp even better!  Choo-choo!!!!!

Hooray for the U.P.!!!

We are thrilled to be here - the first week was wonderful and we are excited for another one!

Grandpa Bob set up his old Radio Flier train for me in the garage - it's definitely one of my favorite activities!

The first Saturday after we arrived we spent all afternoon on Grandpa's boat and I went tubing with Mommy!

Koen didn't make it on the boat, but he got plenty of lovin' at home.

We also spent an evening at Grandpa's camp - the weather was a little cool so Mommy didn't think to bring my swimsuit...we had to improvise :-)

Summer Play Camp

I went to a play camp at a neighborhood park for 6 weeks this summer and I really loved it!  My teacher Mr. Gill was awesome and we did so many fun things - sports, arts & crafts, water fun, field trips to museums, and picnic lunches.  This is a picture from our program for the parents on the last day of camp.  (I'm kind of hidden in the back)

My buddy Reid lives a block away from me and we'll be going to preschool together next month too.

We're trying to convince Koen that older women are the way to go.  This is Eden, daddy's co-worker's daughter.
