Koen's 4-Month Stats

Height: 26 1/2 inches (90-95%)
Weight: 14 lbs, 3 oz (35%)
Head: 16 5/8 inches (50%)

I turned 4 months old this past Monday - time is flying by!  The doc says I'm healthy and growing well...as you can see from the diaper picture below (thanks Mom).  I'm starting to thin out with my height, but the doc says that's normal around 4 months.  I'm eating 5 times a day now and am sleeping from about 7:30pm-7am with 2-3 naps during the day.  I'm pretty relaxed in general and nothing much really gets me upset - except tummy time and getting my nose wiped.  I'm holding my head up really well and love to stand up on Mommy's lap and interact.  However I still have no interest whatsoever in rolling over and am perfectly content to stay on my back, thank you very much.  I'm definitely more on the serious/solemn side as babies go, but I'm getting more generous with my smiles and even gave out a few giggles over the past couple weeks.  Gotta keep the family entertained :-) 

 

 

Aunts and Uncles Visit

Auntie Nina, Uncle Rich, and Auntie Sarah came to visit us this past weekend and it was so much fun!  We didn't get to see them at Christmas so we opened gifts with them too.  The rest of the weekend we spent reading books, playing games, drawing and coloring on my new chalkboard that they brought me, and celebrating Great-Grandma Glo's birthday on Saturday with her and the Owsiaks.

Auntie Nina and I made a cake for Grandma Glo - and I taste-tested to make sure it was good :-)

Christmas with the Kuhns

We had a Christmas exchange with my pals Asher and Amri on NYE and the whole family slept over!  We (the kids) tried our best to stay up to see the ball drop, but we were in bed by 8:30 :-)  Uncle Nick treated us to homemade donuts in the morning on his brand spankin' new donut maker and I think I shoved down about 5 before we even had breakfast.  Thanks Uncle Nick!! 

 

Here we are displaying our wonderful gifts - we gave Amri a princess cash register, Asher a tool set, and they gave me a learning laptop and an airplane.  Koen got some clothes, but he didn't feel like modeling them for us.
